LED Wall Studio & Virtual Production
Virtual production is changing the way films, commercials, and live events are made. What is Virtual Production?
Virtual production combines physical filming with real-time digital environments displayed on LED screens. The result is a seamless background that responds to camera movement, reacts to lighting conditions, and looks genuinely photographic – not composited. What used to require weeks of post-production can now be achieved on the day of the shoot.
LED Wall Production
Our two 3-metre LED screens create an immersive backdrop for any production. Whether you need a specific real-world location, a stylised environment, or an abstract visual setting, we can build it digitally and place your subject inside it. The LED wall provides natural fill light and reflections that integrate with your subject in a way that post-production compositing cannot match.
Our LED screens run at 2.0mm pixel pitch with a 3840Hz refresh rate – specifications that eliminate flicker on camera and ensure a clean, photographic result at every frame rate.
Real-Time Rendering & Environment Control

Lighting conditions, time of day, weather, and location can all be adjusted in real time – without moving the crew. Our studio is located at Montanavej 10, Billund – five minutes from Billund International Airport. For international clients and crews, this makes AVdesign one of the most accessible production facilities in Denmark. Copenhagen and Hamburg are approximately two and a half hours by road, and the surrounding area offers a range of accommodation options for multi-day productions.
The Mobile Studio
A self-contained, packaged production unit with identical equipment to our Billund facility – same LED screens, same cameras, same audio and switching infrastructure. We work primarily with European clients, but the unit has no fixed geographic limit. Set up at your venue, your event, or your location – and gone again when the production wraps.
